Leisure Expansion in Fife - Good News Update

We have recently had confirmation that Fife Council have agreed zoning within the new Local Plan for 180 houses.  In addition to this, the owners of Forrester Park Golf Resort have announced a £65 million redevelopment which includes: a double winged five star hotel alongside a dining clubhouse, spa & leisure complex, equestrian centre, driving range and a nine hole golf course to sit alongside the existing course.
The proposed redevelopment is a major boost to the local economy and will also create in excess of 200 jobs during the construction phase with up to 100 permanant staff required once the resort is up and running.

Mr Forrester junior said "for the last 16 years we have been developing the golf course and now the idea is to create an international resort of five star quality"  He added "the development will give the area a lift and we hope to link into the draw of Culross, Knockhill and of course Dunfermline with all of its heritage and Robert the Bruce connections".
